The live experience started on a Sunday evening early 1983. After learning about the band in 1982, it was time to find out what all the buzz was about and eventually discover the center of U2. It's live shows. There is a quoe that " If you want to make it as a musician in Dublin, you must be able to survive in front of a crowd.". A few taped shows off of College Radio and a handful of record conventions later, the live collection evolved. Bootlegs of European dates and a friend of mine who brought over the vinyl from London, expanded trade material at a rapid pace. Mail order import shops, 3 hour drives to conventions and trades with a small circle of collectors set a foundation of what was to come. In the now more modern times, mail has been replaced by technology via torrents, streams and downloads. With the price of gas and the cost of a stamp, who's complaining?
